September 12th-14th Engine 2 offered Food+Health2014 – exploring a national conversation about the importance of food in our family’s and our nation’s health. With four distinct themes – food policy, the environment, healthcare in the 21st century, and the challenges of lifestyle change – this was a great chance to be a part of a discussion with the nation’s biggest thinkers, as they explored the latest ideas on what WE can do in our homes and our lives to be healthier and live better. Each speaker shared their ‘big ideas’ on what we can do, and then discussed those ideas with their fellow big thinkers.
