Introducing Kindness Magazine!
This is our first issue with the name “Kindness” on the cover! As explained in many ways throughout the magazine, we are not giving up any of the good stuff that we have offered for years in Vegan Health & Fitness Magazine. We are adding lots more to expand the conversation, and our reach into the world!
Inspiration: In this issue, you will be inspired by a 76 year young aerobics instructor, a top boxing trainer, a small but powerful female powerlifter, and a law enforcement guy who shares what he has learned, the hard way, about overcoming heart disease with diet.
Science: Dr. Neal Barnard of the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine teaches you how to overcome female hormonal problems with diet. Editor in Chief Brenda Carey takes you on a journey to discover why eating oil-free is a good idea.
Resources: Recipes and more from Chef Ramses Bravo who has just authored another amazing cookbook. Teach your children empathy with recommendations for children’s books by Lotus Kay and Croatian author Dragana Vucic Dekic, Ph.D. Learn about a vegan option available now for feeding premature babies. Learn about the Food for Life program for learning how to prepare food in a new and super healthy way from the Physician’s Committee for Responsible Medicine.
Travel: Visit 5 Adventurous places fit for social distancing with our active vegan travel guru Robin Tierney.
Charity: Learn about feedOM, the organization that has in its mission feeding the hungry, while simultaneously rescuing animals, and planting lots of trees.
Art: Enjoy amazing images from artist Andrei Petcu who shares his “Vegetable Olympics”!
