Ellen designs ability-appropriate realistic workout programs and demonstrate proper form instructing in person or via Skype/Facetime. “Build, Don’t Break” and “Training for Mortals.” Before her books, Ellen worked as a volunteer assistant high school cross-country and track coach and ran with students every day after school. Bradenton Herald: "Keeping Up With the Kids." More than two dozen articles including a Tampa Bay Times Magazine cover and “Walking” Magazine centerfold stories have been written about her cooking classes and athletic accomplishments. She works with clients designing a program specific to goals, expectations and abilities. She is a rare athlete with a combination of 3 decades of running, current sprint and endurance race performances, along with training certifications.

7th US W60-64 1500 meters, 10th 400 meters 2013 National Senior Games 3rd in State (FL) 200, 400, 1500 meters 2012 Florida Senior Games, 4th in 100 meters 1st in Gulf Coast 2012 Games 100, 200, 400 meters 61 5K or longer age group placements since 2006 including 4 Senior Grand Masters (10 year age group) 1st marathon 2010-5th oldest female to finish Palm Beaches Marathon 6 half marathons including 5th place age group award at Sarasota SAL Palmer Ranch half marathon.
